NBA IKERE-EKITI GETS NEW CHAIRMAN
The Nigeria Bar Association, Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Southwest Nigeria, has elected a new chairman.
In a release issued from the Gani Faniyi & Co. Legal Practitioners in the town, Mrs. Kike Owolabi emerged as the Chairman Elect of the branch on Wednesday, 27th day of May, 2020.
Mrs. Owolabi, is the Head, Gani Faniyi & Co. Legal Practitioners, Ikere Ekiti office.
The keenly contested election held at Chief Wole Olanipekun Bar Centre, Ikere-Ekiti, saw Owolabi clinching the top job, having received overwhelming support. She would be in office for the two years.
In her acceptance speech, Mrs. Owolabi thanked and praised the outgoing executive under the leadership of Mrs. Oludayo Olorunfemi, for a good and strong foundation laid for the her and her incoming tea to build upon.
In addition, the Chairman-elect promised to lift the Ikere-Ekiti Branch of the Nigeria Bar Association, to an enviable height during her tenure.
Other officers elected at the event include, Ibironke Odetola, Secretary, and Ifedapo Osadola as Treasurer.
