RENO TO BUHARI: ONLY A JOBLESS LEADER LEAVES HIS COUNTRY TO VISIT ANOTHER LEADER

President Buhari on arrival at the Tokyo International Conference.
An aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Reno Omokri has come hard on President Muhamadu Buhari on his visit to Japan.

The president had departed Abuja, the nation’s capital on Sunday for Japan to participate in the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7) holding in the City of Yokohama, August 28-30, 2019.

President Buhari’s participation is his second, having attended TICAD6 in Nairobi, Kenya, in August 2016.

However, Mr. Omokri has described the president as jobless for attending the Conference. He noted in a tweet on his twitter handle, @renoomokri, that the president’s trip paints him as a leader with no duties at home.

Here’s how he put it: “Only a jobless leader leaves his country to visit another leader, when that leader is not in his country. Don’t you have work at home? Are you so shameless to you stay in Japan waiting for PM @AbeShinzo to return from G-7? Familiarity breeds contempt!”

He added that a serious leader, knowing that his host didn’t consider him important enough to be around when he visited, would have sent a minister to represent him.

“A serious leader, knowing that his host didn’t consider him important enough to be around when he visited, would have sent a minister to represent him. But General @MBuhari is SHAMELESS! Maybe he even thought the JUNIOR MINISTER was PM @AbeShinzo,” he added.

Meanwhile, in apparent response to the internet case in which no fewer than 77 Nigerians were busted by the FBI in the US, Omokri also came hard on the president accusing him of working with members of a cabal that were the real Yahoo boys.

“The ONLY real difference between Yahoo boys and General @MBuhari's CABAL is that Yahoo boys steal from FOREIGNERS and invest in NIGERIA while General Buhari's CABAL steal from NIGERIANS and invest with FOREIGNERS. Other than that they are THE SAME!" he tweeted.
