I AM PROUD OF BUHARI BUT... FEMI FANI-KAYODE

An ex-Minister of State For Defence and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode has debunked the rumour making the rounds that he has dumped his party, for the All Progressives Congress, APC; saying the rumour was false and a mere fabrication of insane persons who were peddling such vile mendacities and perfidious falsehood.

The well-known critic of the ruling APC, said indeed he praised President Muhammadu Buhari for ensuring the release of Zainab Aliyu, arrested by Saudi authorities on drug trafficking related offences. He however denied dumping his PDP for APC.

In a series of tweets on his confirmed twitter handle, @realFFK, he said, among others, “The reports that I have joined APC are false. Those that are peddling such vile mendacities and perfidious falsehood are insane. I commended Buhari for getting the young lady in Saudi Arabia out of prison but it stops there.’’

Continuing, he added that it was true that he commended President Muhammadu Buhari for getting Zainab Aliyu out of Saudi Arabia prison. The commendation, according to him, was not tantamount to joining the president’s political party.
